The second show of Fetish Rocks at De Bees music bar in Winsford, Cheshire last night was a big step in the right direction in terms of acts, guests and vibe! Feedback from guest had me really touched...stating they felt at ease with the other guests and loved the attention to detail, music and general atmosphere. Was awesome to discover people had come from out of the area to attend the event and said they would definitely return! I was overwhelmed by the effort that guests made with their outifts. Jess Brown won the photoshoot first prize with her post apocolyptic inspired outfit, with Annette gaining second place with a gothic/burlesque ensemble and Fer gaining third prize with his steampunk/gothic feel attire.
Lauren Astles dedication to Fetish Rocks does not go unnoticed and as always is a pleasure to watch. Her new burleque inspired routine last night was enjoyed by men and women alike! Our new edition to the team and compere, Atalia Versace, was a lovely welcome to the event and narrated the evening with a little humour and plenty of style! Lisa Loki's creations for face and body art went down a treat generating much interest from the guests. We also had Jess handing out treats to guests! Big thank you to all the bands Kalashnikov, Will Garner and Deadbeat Echoes, that played. Everyone worked really hard to make the night work. I love the fact that the team I am working with are also very creative bringing new and fresh ideas to the table for outifts, routines and props. The next event which the date is TBC in April will have a 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party' theme and we already have plenty of ideas for the decor, dresscode and acts.
